UKIP Election Broadcast

You may have spotted our Party Election Broadcast which went out yesterday
Making Your Mind Up
Apr 20th
Total Politics has produced this excellent video encouring people to vote in the General Election. It even features our very own Nigel Farage! It certainly brought a smile to my face.
Manifesto Launch
Apr 14th
Yesterday Morning (Tuesday 13th) UKIP re-launched our manifesto by popular demand (well, media demand!).
I was at 4 Millbank for the early morning launch and it seemed to go very well. Lots of media cramming into the small side-room and overflowing through the double doors. Unusually the top political hacks were there from Andrew Neil to Michael White of the Guardian and Quentin Letts of the Mail. All keen to hear what we were saying.
But the fact the media asked us to re-launch our manifesto speaks volumes. This year we do have a manifesto. A full manifesto, the result of 17 policy groups over 3 years working hard to put fresh, coherent and costed ideas to the British people.
Ex-leader Nigel Farage MEP, a political force majeure and in many ways the father of the modern UK Independence Party, was in attendance, and can be seen below speaking at the launch.
Debt Clock
Apr 12th
The always excellent Taxpayers’ Alliance has today launched its mobile debt clock.
The truck will tour the country, taking the message to voters as to just what a state the UK public finances are in. Here is our borrowing in more managable sums…
£5,169 per second
£310,212 per minute
£18,607,306 per hour
£446,575,342 per day
And We’re Off!
Apr 7th
Brown has finally visited the Queen to request a dissolution of Parliament to make way for a General Election on May 6th. It was perhaps the worst kept political secret this century, but finally the British people will have a chance to make their voices heard.
UKIP launched our election campaign in March at our spring conference in Milton Keynes. Our slogan “Straight Talking” not only embodies the thurst of our attitude and manifesto, but it is precisely what the British public are crying out for.
If you are uninspired by New Labour or Blue Labour, think all the parties look and sound the same and offer little choice between them, then do take a look at UKIP. You may even be pleasantly surprised
As your UKIP candidate please do feel free to ask me any questions via this website, or if you happen to see me out and about in Horsham high street or your street then come and buttonhole me.
We have a good opportunity in Horsham. In 2005 we recieved 4.7% of the vote, but in the 2009 European Elections we secured over 20%, coming 2nd behind only the Conservatives. I hope the people of Horsham feel able to vote with their hearts and send a clear message to Francis Maude and the next Parliament.
